Create your home page and create a powerful first impression.
Let's begin by creating your website's home page. This is your chance to make a big impression on first-time visitors to your site.
To begin, login to Castiron and access your navigation panel on the left-hand side of your screen. Select "Pages" under the Website section. This is where you can activate, deactivate, or edit your website's unique pages.
Select "Home" to edit your website's home page.
This is where you can edit all of the content that appears on your website's home page.
Begin by adding a background photo to your homepage! Simply drag and drop a photo under "Background Photo" or choose to upload from your computer. If you'd like to edit or replace an existing photo, simply choose the small three dots in the upper right-hand corner and make any changes you need.
Next, add a custom Headline and Description to your homepage in the sections provided.
Be sure to select "Preview" in the upper right-hand corner to preview your changes in real time.
Note: "Shop" and "Get a Quote" buttons will automatically appear when you have an active product or order form in your shop.
If you would like to add more sections to your homepage, you can do so in just a few clicks! These sections will appear as customers scroll on your site's homepage. These sections are snippets from other content on your website (see Step 2) and will link your customers to other published pages on your website.
Simply toggle the additional buttons to turn a section "on" or "off".
Here's an example of what this can look like. Sections from your site will automatically link to their own pages.
Last but not least, be sure your home page is marked as "Active" under "Status" and that you have saved all of your changes by pressing "Save" in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
Add more pages to your website in just a few clicks.
Easily add content to your website by editing and publishing unique pages to your site! Castiron provides you with easy templates to create unique pages including a Shop, Get a Quote, Gallery, Availability, About, FAQ, Contact, or fully custom page.
To activate these pages on your website, login to Castiron and access "Pages" under "Website Settings" on the left-hand side of the navigation panel.
Again, this is where you can select, publish, and edit all of your beautiful website's content!
Each button here corresponds to a specific page on your website. Use “View My Site” in the upper right corner to preview your changes as you go.
Shop & Get a Quote Pages
These pages are directly tied to your products and custom order forms. Your "Shop" and "Get a Quote" pages will automatically become active whenever you have an active product or order form in your shop.
By clicking "Shop", you will be able to preview what active products will appear on your website.
By clicking the "Get a Quote" page, you will be able to edit the text that appears on the page under "Description". You can also preview your active order forms that will appear on this page.
Preview your "Shop" or "Get a Quote" page to see your progress.
Again, to edit the products and order forms on your Shop and Get a Quote, you will need to edit your order forms or products directly. Simply go to "Products" on the left-hand side of your navigation panel and edit your listings from the Products tab.
Gallery
Let your customers preview your work by perusing your photo gallery! Select the “Gallery” page to make changes to your photo gallery.
You can drag or drop photos, or browse your device to add photos. Select “Rearrange Photos” in the upper right corner to drag and change the order your photos appear. Once completed, press “Save”. Be sure the status is “Active” for it to appear on your website. Select "View My Gallery" to check it out on your website.
About
The About page allows you to share more about yourself with your customers. Simply add a header, and share your story! Not sure what to write? Select "Write it for Me" and Castiron AI will auto-generate a description for you! And don't worry- you can still make any edits or changes to what we come up with.
Choose any Shop Badges that apply to your store and add a profile image as well! Be sure to “Save” your changes and make the page “Active”. To preview your shop, select "View Your Shop” in the upper right-hand corner.
FAQ
Utilize the FAQ page to allow your customers to preview the most frequently asked questions about your business. This is a great way to share answers regarding your policies, ways of operating, and how you prefer to run your business. Simply type your Question and add the Answer just below it. Select “Add Question” to add another.
Hold and drag the light-grey buttons on the right-hand side of a Question to rearrange the order the questions appear if needed.
Again, be sure to “Save” and mark the page status as “Active” to make it live in your shop.
Contact
Lastly, the “Contact” page will allow your customers to reach out with any questions regarding your business. Add your Header and Description, toggle the page’s status to “Active” and press “Save”.
Availability Page
The Availability Page will allow your customers to easily view your availability calendar on your website! To change your availability status, be sure to go to the Calendar tab on the left-hand side of your navigation panel.
Edit the Headline and Description for your Availability Page. Once everything looks good, press “Save” and again, make sure your status is “Active” for this page to appear on your site.

Custom Page
Have an upcoming event to highlight? Need an extra page for a separate purpose? Then the custom page is for you! Choose "Custom Page" from the "Pages" tab to get started.
Begin by adding a Page Title. This can't be long, since it will be in your website's navigation header at the very top of your site! Keep it brief here.
Next, add a Headline for your custom page's title. Then, include a description!
Be sure to add an Image as well, and, as always, press "Preview" to see your changes in action.
Your custom page will have its own section and link the website header!
Customize with themes, fonts, and more to help your brand shine.
Now that your site is more complete, it's time to customize your website's appearance! Castiron makes it easy to achieve a seamless, consistent, and beautiful website design. Simply go to "Appearance" on the left-hand side of your navigation panel.
Begin by adding a Shop Logo. Drag and drop a photo or choose to upload one from your device.
Should you have any store-wide announcements, you can choose to publish your website's announcement banner. Simply toggle the button to be "on".
Your announcement banner will appear at the very top of your website, as shown below.
Next, select a website theme! Castiron provides you with several unique theme options, so you can easily coordinate a website theme with your unique brand. You can change your theme at any time. Select a thee or press "change theme". Browse and scroll, and then select your preferred theme.
Check out just a few of our available themes!
Even after selecting a theme, you can still make some tweaks to your site's design if you'd like! Go rogue by customizing your button shape, button color, and even your fonts, should you want to. But for those who may not be quite as design savvy, your selected shop theme is guaranteed to already look fantastic!
