Castiron Pricing + Fees
As of February 21, 2024, we are offering the following pricing plan to new Castiron users:
- No subscription fees
- 1% transaction fees for calendar year 2024
- 3% transaction fees starting on January 1, 2025
- Standard credit card rates apply and are collected and sent to Stripe, our payment processor.
- The standard payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) is calculated on total transaction amount.
- The combination of the Castiron fee and Stripe fee is listed as a convenience fee on the customer invoice/receipt, unless the artisan elects to absorb the fees. This can be adjusted within the shop admin screen (Settings > Payments > Settings tab).
As always, the most current plans are visible here.
Existing customers on Legacy Plans (subscriptions) will continue to receive the benefits associated with their plan until the end of their term if they are annual subscribers or the end of 2024 for monthly users.
Legacy Plan Support:
- The Transition Date for Legacy Plans to the current pricing will be January 1, 2025 or the expiration of your current Plan, whichever comes later.
- If you have purchased an Annual Plan and your plan runs until February 20, 2025, you may stay in that plan until February 20, 2025.
- If you are a Monthly subscriber, you may continue to renew your monthly plan at the current rate through the end of the calendar year after which time you will automatically transition to the current plan that is available on that date.
- If you have purchased an Annual Plan and your plan runs until February 20, 2025, you may stay in that plan until February 20, 2025.
- No changes to your billing or plan cost will happen before then, unless you choose to switch to the current plan.
Admin Updates:
- Please note that there are currently no planned changes to the Castiron admin interface regarding Legacy Plans. There will be marketplace navigation included on traffic that comes only from the marketplace.
How to Proceed:
- If you are currently on a Legacy Plan, rest assured that you will continue to receive the agreed-upon services until the end date of your annual plan or until the end of 2024 if you are renewing monthly.
- At the end of your Legacy Plan, you will be automatically transitioned to the current pricing plan that is active on that date. You will be notified of this transition, but you will not have to do anything. If you want to transition to the new pricing now, please reach out to help@castiron.me.
