How and When You Will Get Paid

Here at Castiron, we have partnered with Stripe, a secure online payment processor, to manage all of your transactions through Castiron. Stripe accepts all major debit and credit cards from customers, as well as apple pay. Connecting to Stripe is a required item on your launch-checklist. 

To connect to Stripe, go to “Shop Settings” on the left-hand side of your admin panel and select “Payments”. 

Go to "Settings" to choose how you would like to allocate your Castiron fees. Also, be sure to turn on our Tipping feature if you would like your customers to be able to include tips when they checkout!

If you'd like, you can scroll down to also set your state tax rate. 

Finally, select "Connect with Stripe" to get started. This should only take about 5-10 minutes! Stripe will ask your for a contact email and phone number to verify your identity.

Select whether you'd like to register as a business or an individual, and complete the steps as prompted. You will eventually connect the bank account you'd like payouts routed to. You are now ready to get paid through Stripe! Please reach out to help@castiron.me if you have any issues. 

How and at what frequency will I get paid? 

Now it's time to get paid!

The normal the Castiron payout frequency is once per week. Stripe automatically sends the money you've earned from selling to your bank account on Mondays and the funds should arrive in your account by end of day Wednesday at the latest. You do not need to do anything in order to transfer your funds.

First Time Sellers: The first payout for every new Stripe account takes 7-14 days to deposit into the bank account. This cannot be waived and will still apply even if the payout schedule is changed. This period is necessary to mitigate risks and we cannot speed this up. When the bank receives the funds, they deposit the funds to the account immediately but occasionally some banks may take an additional 2-3 days.
